Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for over 20 years. She is most famous for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also had the role of the title character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years throughout her childhood. She was the valedictory speech of her school at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University had accepted her. They had agreed to her admission twice in order for her to take on the role of Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in two made-for-television films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played a significant role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in September 2014 as one of the nation's top young actors.
